Northwestern Mineral Ventures is an emerging international exploration company with an experienced, highly technical management team. The company is focused on uranium and has a highly prospective portfolio of properties around the world, including:
• 100% exploration rights to two uranium concessions in the west African country of Niger, one of the world's largest uranium producers. The two concessions in Niger, named In Gall and Irhazer, consist of a total of 988,000 acres (4,000 square kilometers)
• A binding Letter of Intent to acquire up to 65% interest in the North Rae Uranium Project in the Ungava Bay region in northern Quebec, Canada. Results to date have revealed the potential for a new uranium district
• An option to acquire up to 65% interest in the Daniel Lake Uranium Project, which is contiguous with North Rae and expands Northwestern's Quebec project to cover a total area of more than 200,000 acres (81,000 hectares).
• An option to earn up to 75% ownership of the Waterbury Project, which consists of nine highly prospective uranium claims covering 30,683 acres (12,417 hectares) in the prolific Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Northwestern also has the option to earn 70% ownership in the silver-gold Picachos Project, located in Durango, Mexico
