infatti:
This is what Scottish skiing looks like in 2018

n the Sierra Nevada, snowpack levels are running below even the darkest days of the drought, with cross-country ski resorts closed and mountain biking becoming the sport of choice until the snow returns.
In the Bay Area, cities like San Francisco, San Jose and Santa Rosa are experiencing the hottest starts to a year on record.
And Southern California remains in the grip of unprecedented dry and hot conditions, despite a weak storm that moved in Monday.
February is historically a wet month, but not this year. And the long-term forecast offers little hope for relief.
"If you're buying rainfall stocks, go short," said climatologist Bill Patzert. "Essentially, that storm we had in Montecito was the only major storm we've had in the last 12 months. It stopped raining in mid-February 2017, and, you know, there hasn't been much rain since."
Southern California is desperate for rain, but this week's precipitation is expected to be so paltry experts are loathe to even call it an actual storm.

Predicting climate temperatures isn't science – it's science fiction.
I know they don’t work. They haven’t worked in the past. They don’t work now. And it’s hard to imagine when, if ever, they’ll work in the foreseeable future

oggetto noin identificato mandato in onda dalla nsa, poi tagliato all improvviso??
ARRIVA NIBIRU??
A HUGE object spotted on a NASA live field has sparked wild claims an alien UFO “hundreds of miles long” is orbiting Earth.

Russian winters are famously freezing, but this week the cold in Yakutia, in the far east, dipped below -60C
Boston, too, is set to tie its record of seven straight days with temperatures remaining below 20 degrees, reports Weather.com, which has not been seen in Beantown for exactly 100 years—since the week ending January 4, 1918.
Flint, Michigan, set its all-time record-low temperature for December of 18 degrees below zero last Thursday morning.
North American cities too numerous to mention have been setting records for daily low temperatures, as the gelid weather wave shows its impressive staying power.
For instance, the National Weather Service reported a temperature of minus 15 F in Omaha on Sunday, breaking a record low dating back to 1884.
Climate change alarmists continue to preach the dogma of global warming in a textbook case of cognitive dissonance, despite record low temperatures in different points around the globe.
ma tranquilli, While heat waves and extreme weather events are routinely pointed to as indicators of global warming trends, the coldest weather in over a century is simply brushed off as “natural variability."

spampana, bisognerà avvisare l'orso Francesco...
Plumbing a 90 million-year-old layer cake of sedimentary rock in Colorado, a team of scientists from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Northwestern University has found evidence confirming a critical theory of how the planets in our solar system behave in their orbits around the sun.
The finding, published Feb. 23, 2017 in the journal Nature, is important because it provides the first hard proof for what scientists call the “chaotic solar system,” a theory proposed in 1989 to account for small variations in the present conditions of the solar system. The variations, playing out over many millions of years, produce big changes in our planet’s climate
“The impact of astronomical cycles on climate can be quite large,” explains Meyers, noting as an example the pacing of the Earth’s ice ages, which have been reliably matched to periodic changes in the shape of Earth’s orbit, and the tilt of our planet on its axis. “Astronomical theory permits a very detailed evaluation of past climate events that may provide an analog for future climate.”
