E ormai chiaro che da due anni il miglior settore è l'healthcare e nell'anno che verrà ha ancora stime di aumenti di utili, mentre la tecnologia pur migliorando non fa gli enormi utili dell'healthcare, solo che abbiamo una novità: Oggi WLP e prima tantissimi altri titoli battono le aspettative e ad esempio WLP raggiunge i nuovi massimi di tutti i tempi ed altri hanno prezzi anche validi, ma non ci si può aspettare grossa crescita e si è tentati a prendere la tecnologia sui minimi, rischiando di stare fermi, ma la grande novità è che questi healthcare hanno tanti soldi da spendere e un grosso problema controllare i costi che sono cresciuti molto, quindi le attese per una loro potente spesa nei software per mangement and control sono enormi, quindi questo settore ha aspettative formidabili tali da poter essere il settore più forte nel 2002. Conclusione QMDC segnalata da GZ è aumentata moltissimo e HMSY segnalata da me pure e ritorniamo al problema degli healthcare ottimi ma che costano anche il giusto prezzo, solo che tra i software sicuramente ci sono altre compagnie che serviranno compagnie di healthcare e con questo posty vorrei aprire la caccia e chi prima ne scopre lo segnali e li analizziamo per trovare l'ooportunità migliore del 2002. In a capitated arrangement the MCO contracts with a provider group to administer all healthcare servcies for a fixed fee usually based upon a per member per month amount. The group chooses to take on the risk. They hire providers to work for them to administer care. The group's objective is manage the risk so they make a profit. In other words, to control medical and administrative cost so it spends less than the MCO pays them. The providers contract with the groups, not the MCO. In theory capitation is a very good option for the MCO because they have a fixed medical cost and do not have to directly managed the network. The porblem, however, is many of these groups are not sophisticated enough to self manage and they go under. If the group goes bankrupt, the providers do not get paid. Legally the MCO does not have to pay the providers. The MCO already paid the group for the services. I can understand why the Drs. are angry -- they are not gettng paid. But the doctors choose to contract with the group and took on the risk. This is a business and while it is not pleasant, this is what happens when a company goes bankrupt be it a medical group or exodus communications or Kmart. If PacifiCare wants to they can choose to pay twice and offer the Drs. some compensation, but they are not required. It would be just a gesture of good will. What the state of TX is demanding is aburd and illegal. The providers have to take the medical group to court, not the MCO! Posted as a reply to: Msg 7376 by katiemblum In nessuna parte del mondo occidentale esiste una legge che permetta la ripetizione di un pagamento, qualsiasi avvocato nel forum può confermarlo e avvalorare la tesi di questo esperto molto intelligente che ha capito anche che se le compagnie di dottori da cui dipendono i servizi che phsy deve prestare per i primi ricevuti fallissero, addirittura PHSY potrebbe fare un guadagno maggiore non pagandole pur avendo incassato il premio e se paga sarebbe ammirevole e sarebbe solo unn'operazione di marketing, ciao massimo peppe
