Sempre della serie: il Crac di General Motors & C questa è la famosa Americredit che data per morta nel 2002 è poi risorta nel 2003 in modo spettacolare e chi c'era ricorderà che nel forum se ne è parlato ed è stata raccomandata da vari autori (incluso il sottoscritto) con molto successo Il problema è che sono passati due anni e oggi dato che ^Americredit#^ finanzia gli acquisti di auto e i dealers di auto ora sembra precipitare Se l'economia rallenta e GM continua a sprofondare qui hai uno "short" che può avere grandi prospettive

mxt + 60 % aveva un o scoperto del 50 %.. pazzesco. e non aveva nanche i soldi per pagare un dividendo di 1 centensimo 1.. il settore consumer credit sta per espldere al riazlo. .Last month, Metris said it wouldn't be able pay the 1-cent-a-share dividend it declared on Feb. 27, after realizing that the terms of its credit agreement prohibit the payment of dividends following a year in which the company reports a loss.

AmeriCredit has sought alternate forms of financing as it has had difficulty accessing the asset-backed securities market because insurers have backed away from guaranteeing the transactions. "The fact The fact that we were able to complete this transaction in this environment has allowed us to diversify our funding sources," a company spokeswoman said. "We have financed $1 billion worth of receivables permanently. We will continue toward our goal to do asset backed deals." loro dicono che hanno diversificato i finanzaitori ma mi sembra che in realta la FSA si e rifiutata di assicurare le loro securitizations.. bo! e cosi positiva la notizia?
