Altro che 11/9 e terrorismo ..... il vero uragano per Wall Street si chiama Eliot Spitzer ed è il procuratore generale di NY ! Dopo aver messo alle strette broker assicurativi come Marsh & McLennan e Aon (che hanno trascinato giù tutto il settore con centinaia di MLD $ di capitalizzazione spariti in pochi giorni ) , ora passa al ramo vita/salute e oggi le UNH , WLP , ATH , SIE , AET , tutte assicurazioni sanitarie perdono circa un 10% a testa ....
La molla è stata l'incriminazione di Unumprovident .
Non è che Spitzer sta' un calcando la mano un po' troppo pesante ?

BOSTON (CBS.MW) -- Shares of health insurers fell sharply Tuesday after UnumProvident said it has received subpoenas from New York State for further information about its methods of quoting bids for customers and other business practices.
The request is part of New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer's ongoing investigation of the insurance industry.
"As this review is underway, UnumProvident will not enter into any new compensation agreements until this review is completed. The Company is committed to working with the Attorney General of New York, the insurance industry, company officials and other regulators to maintain the trust of customers and the market," Unum said in prepared statement.
Unitedhealth Group (UNH: news, chart, profile) dropped 8.6 percent to $67.01. Aetna (AET: news, chart, profile) slid 6.3 percent to $91.55. WellPoint Health (WLP: news, chart, profile) was down 7.4 percent to $91.01.
Humana (HUM: news, chart, profile) fell 8.8 percent to $17.51. CIGNA Corp. (CI: news, chart, profile) was down 5.4 percent to $63.02.
