Quello che ci si dimentica e' che pseudo statistiche, stagionalita', giorni positivi, lune piene e nuove, capodanni ebraici e compagnia cantando sono patterns che si autoconfermano.
Mi spiego: io non ci credo, ma penso che molti altri si facciano influenzare, ma anche questi altri non ci credono ma pensano che io mi faccia influenzare...insomma nessuno ci crede e tutti si fanno influenzare.
Cmq e' come dicevo, constatato e controllato:
"I also noted the tendency to see the afternoon move of a Fed day reverse itself in the days following, particularly upside moves. For example, there have been 16 times since the bear market low in March 2003 that the S&P 500 closed in positive territory on the day of a Fed rate decision.
Three trading days later, the S&P showed a positive return only 5 times with an overall average return of -0.2%. The average maximum gain during those three days was only +0.6%, and the average max loss came in at -1.0%. The tendency to reverse moves to the downside wasn't nearly as consistent, with positive three-day returns four out of eight times."
